On Friday, May 19, 2017, Prologis employees around the world engaged in the fifth annual IMPACT Day, the company’s global day of service. With the largest participation yet, more than 1,300 Prologis employees in all 71 offices and 19 countries made a difference in their communities and touched the lives of others.
This year, Prologis teamed up with 36 different organizations supporting human welfare, environmental and educational causes, including a new global partnership with Habitat for Humanity. Most notable was the participation by 515 Prologis employees, spanning seven countries across the Americas, Asia and Europe in a Habitat project.

Habitat for Humanity U.S. Team Builds
San Francisco
The team helped to beautify a community park as part of a Neighborhood Revitalization Park project.
Las Vegas
Volunteers painted, fixed ramps and removed brush and trees.
Trinity (Fort Worth, TX)
Employees helped build two homes, contributing to revitalization efforts in Hillside Morningside.
Orlando
The team assisted with framing, siding, drywalling, caulking, priming, painting, landscaping and cleaning, building not only a home, but also a foundation for a family.
DuPage (Wheaton, IL)
Volunteers constructed walls and a deck for a home in Bensenville.
Memphis
Employees painted, landscaped, repaired and upgraded a home in North Memphis.
Los Angeles
The team helped create affordable homeownership opportunities for six low income families—framing, sheathing and learning about the families’ journey to homeownership.
East Bay/Silicon Valley
Volunteers built playhouses for Blue Star Moms, an organization of mothers with sons and daughters currently serving or honorably discharged from the United States’ Armed Forces.
Pomona Valley
Employees fixed three mobile homes for residents who could not afford necessary repairs.
Denver
The team volunteered at one of Denver’s ReStores, which sell donated furniture and building materials, and helped construct homes at Sheridan Square, a multi-year project designed to house approximately 125 adults and 225 children.
Seattle (Tukwilla)
Volunteers worked with a local ReStore, picking up donations, serving customers, recycling metals, posting to social media, cleaning, repairing and organizing donations.
Habitat for Humanity International Builds
Japan
Employees improved a foster home by painting, cleaning and landscaping.
Mexico (Monterrey)
The team worked to improve six homes in the Apodaca community.
London
Employees improved a playground and garden space for a home serving refugees.
Poland
Volunteers helped build a youth addiction recovery center and hostel for sober living after addiction therapy.
Hungary
The team helped renovate abandoned flats to house the formerly homeless.
Toronto
Employees pitched-in at one of ten local ReStores.
