Prologis was honored with a 2019 Digital (“Digie”) Award at the Intelligent Buildings Conference (IBCon) in Nashville on June 13. The award was in the category of “Most Intelligent Building Projects: Industrial.”
Several Prologis initiatives were noted, including the launch of Prologis Labs, the company’s innovation center in San Leandro, California. Prologis was also recognized for creating a virtual data lake and migrating its in-house data “warehouse” into the cloud and developing a customer experience platform that connects clients with the services and products they need to run their logistics spaces efficiently.
“It was a real honor to receive the Digie,” said Prologis chief technology officer Sineesh Keshav. “It shows that the hard work we are putting into our innovation strategies is being recognized—and that we are leading in our space.”
For the past 21 years, the Realcomm Conference Group has presented annual ‘Digie’ awards to companies, real estate projects, technologies and people that have gone above and beyond to positively impact the commercial real estate industry through technology, automation and innovation.
